An Eichler in the desert demanded we strike a careful balance between Palm Springs splash and Northern California natural. Since these designs were originally introduced in the Bay Area, where the connection to the natural world is key, we wanted to pay homage to a footprint that feels unexpectedly subtle for Palm Springs. So we referenced the style but avoided thematic design, marrying natural elements like earthy wool rugs, a live-edge dining table, and walnut pieces with bold, bright graphic art and wallpapers.

Originally designed for Northern California, this desert Eichler instructed we strike a balance between SoCal splash and NorCal natural. So we referenced the style but avoided thematic design, marrying natural elements like earthy wool rugs, a live-edge dining table, and walnut pieces with bold, bright graphic art and wallpapers. Playing with scale—from bathroom wallpaper and the magazine cover blow-up to the giant painting in the master bedroom—we delivered the wow factor the owners wanted in the desert.

Playing here and there with scale—from bathroom wallpaper and the magazine cover blow-up to the giant painting in the master bedroom—delivered the wow factor the owners wanted in the desert.

In each space, vintage furniture and lighting live happily alongside new custom pieces and off-the-shelf finds, blurring the lines between new and old and delivering a mix that is entirely unique to the homeowner—and to Palm Springs.
